AZChess4Charity provides children and their families with an opportunity to learn chess.  Through free chess instruction, we hope to provide a fun activity for children that will help complement their academic development and build life skills such as promoting self-confidence, focus, patience, problem-solving, creativity, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Meet Our Team

Bennett helping coach chess starting in 2014

My name is Bennett Katz.  I am a Senior at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, AZ, and President and Founder of AZChess4Charity, LLC.  We are in our fifth year of providing chess lessons to children whose families are going through difficult times.

We would like to announce our partnership with The Chess Emporium and introduce our new chess coach at Parson's Village, Coach Adam Van Hyfte!

Please donate to help at-risk children think like “kings and queens”.
